Client Executive

General Summary:

The Client Executive must have the ability to articulate the value of DMC solutions. Ideal candidates will have experience in the technology field in either a sales or technical role. Target geography will be a 60-minute radius of Toledo with the expectation of in-person client meetings. The position will include serving existing DMC clients as well as cultivating new clients.

Role:

The primary responsibilities of the Client Executive include:

  • Building long-term relationships with all constituents (clients, employees, partners)
  • Development of new clients
  • Support and development of existing clients
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction
  • Serve as the client’s primary point of contact

Solutions:

The Client Executive will be responsible for representing DMC’s Managed Services, Project Services, and Technology Solutions. Technology Solutions are from several partners, including:

  • Microsoft (with a strong focus on M365 and Azure)
  • Dell (servers, storage, other)
  • Cisco (infrastructure)
  • Arctic Wolf and many other security solutions

Requirements:

Candidate must have:

  • Ability to work on a team and communicate effectively
  • Excellent communications skills (listening, speaking, writing)
  • Desire to be a long-term employee of DMC
  • Desire to work in a small company and support DMC core values of “doing the right thing,” family, teamwork, and service
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changes in business needs

Application Analyst/
Developer

Under the direction of the Application Development Business Unit Manager, the Application Analyst/Developer will be responsible for delivering consulting and programming services and solutions to DMC clients.

This position interfaces constantly with the Business Unit Manager, Account Executives, and clients to ensure work is completed in a timely manner to the customer’s satisfaction.

Role:

As the Application Analyst/Developer, the major components to the role are to:

  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by responding quickly and proficiently to client requests
  • Consult with clients on business technology needs and present available options and solutions
  • Provide on-site and remote support for DMC clients
  • Complete accurate timecard entries

Requirements:

Specific skills:

  • RPG IV, RPGLE, RPG Free
  • CL/CLLE
  • DDS for DB files, printer, display files & menus
  • SQL /Embedded SQL
  • Capable of analyzing client requirements and provide proposals and estimates
  • Manage own project work and possibly the work of others

Experience in the following would be beneficial, but not required:

  • Infor XA
  • VAI
  • EDI (TrustedLink, Gentran, Extol)
  • .NET programming
  • PHP programming
