Marketing Associate

General Summary:

Are you someone who enjoys being creative and thinks outside the box? Do you have a knack for social media? Does the idea of building an organization’s marketing presence excite you? If you answered yes to all of these, then our Marketing Associate role may just be the perfect fit! DMC Technology Group is seeking an enthusiastic self-starter to join our team as a part-time Marketing Associate. This hybrid role (in office & remote) offers flexibility in work hours and days so long as results are achieved. In addition, our office environment is informal, friendly, and team-oriented.

Role:

  • Assists with the overall development of our organization’s marketing strategy by collaborating with the DMC Team
  • Develops, organizes, and maintains a marketing resource library including collateral (flyers, case studies, infographics, etc.) and ensures brand consistency
  • Manages website content and coordinates updates with site developer, Thread Marketing Group.
  • Writes and reviews copy for digital campaigns and advertising
  • Develops social media calendar and executes plan by leveraging personal knowledge of social media platforms
  • Maintains social media sites, company website information, and other digital media in collaboration with appropriate leads
  • Collaborates with DMC Team to strategize new campaigns
  • Coordinates services of specialized consultants and vendors (photographers, publishers, printers, website designers, etc.)
  • Works alongside the DMC Service Coordinator who is responsible for maintaining customer databases, distributing customer communications/collateral, and coordinating customer events.

Requirements:

  • Seeking someone eager to learn, is flexible and has strong writing and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills
  • Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite would be a plus but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field would be a plus but not required.
  • Prior marketing experience would be a plus but not required
  • Has the desire to join a small, locally-owned company that “calls its own shots” and values teamwork, family, integrity, service, and longevity

Help Desk Engineer

Under the direction of the Network Infrastructure Service Manager, the Help Desk Engineer will be responsible for delivering engineering services and solutions to DMC clients for Workstation, Server, M/365 and Network Infrastructure.

This position interfaces constantly with our network team, Account Executives, and clients to ensure work is completed in a timely manner to the customer’s satisfaction.

Role:

As the Help Desk Engineer, the major components to the role are to:

  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by responding quickly and proficiently to client requests
  • Develop and maintain documentation outlining the process for handling customer issues
  • Become a subject matter expert for Microsoft Desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office
  • Consult with customers on business technology needs and present available options and solutions
  • Maintain required Microsoft and other certifications 
  • Provide on-site and remote support for DMC clients
  • Complete accurate timecard entries as a task is performed
  • Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency after hours support

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year experience with the Windows desktop Professional Operating System
  • Experience with imaging and configuring desktops/laptops/tablets
  • General understanding of firewall, switch, and router technology
  • Experience with anti-virus
  • Experience with M/365 and Email
  • Previous Client Service or phone related skills; familiarity with computer system support terminology concepts. A+ or Microsoft certifications are a plus for the candidate.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and desktop imaging tools is a plus, but not required.
