Connecting in the Community – DMC Gives Back

For 30 years, the greater Toledo community has supported DMC Technology Group as we’ve grown into a thriving IT solutions business serving organizations across Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. We have established longtime relationships with our business partners that extend beyond work and into family, shared interests, nonprofit affiliations and local causes. We strongly believe in doing all we can to give back to our greater community, which is an integral part of our success story.

DMC was founded on the principles of loyalty, trustworthiness, experience and innovation—and we bring these values to everything we do. This includes how we share our resources, talent and energy to better the community.

Our work as an innovative partner delivering IT solutions is often very technical, but there is an equally strong human element to what we do and who we are as an organization. Our employees are proud to be a part of a DMC family that creates opportunities for them to engage in the community, support philanthropic causes and give back to those in need.

DMC is a culture of caring. We are tremendously proud of this.

We are also pleased to share an employee philanthropic initiative called DMC Gives. Led by Pat and Elaine Sheehan, this “give-give” initiative provides employees with three paid time off days per year to participate in volunteer activities. DMC also matches funds at a given level for eligible local charitable donations.

The DMC Gives program is an ongoing commitment to our responsibility as a community steward, and it’s an inspirational benefit for employees to help out various charitable organizations in meaningful ways.

We’re encouraging our team members to consider how they can contribute to causes they are passionate about and assist with charitable efforts where there is a need. Employees can pursue a volunteer experience individually, with their families or as a DMC team. By giving back together, we grow a stronger organization together.

Here are some highlights from the latest DMC Gives team days.

Camp Day with Glendale-Feilbach School
The Rotary Club of Toledo hosts an annual Camp Miakonda day for elementary students at Glendale-Feilbach School, and a number of DMC participants gathered to lend a hand. Pictured is DMC President and Rotarian Patrick Sheehan and his wife, Eileen, along with DMC Engineer Steven Kern and recently retired DMC Programmer John Chadwick. Pat is an active Rotarian with the Toledo chapter.
